This puts images into Category:United States government images. This template is used to say that a picture is public domain due to being a work of the Federal United States Government.
A file copyright tag indicating that this file is in the public domain because it was produced by the United States Federal Government. Works by other countries' governments should not use this template, nor should works of states, counties, or other governments use this template.
