Chers Parents
J'ai reçu avec peine votre
lettre du 23.
Vous me demandez une
réponse calme. La voici :
1°l Il n'est pas question , dans
aucun cas de me faire reformer.
Nous sommes encore en guerre et
ensuite dans mon état physique
actuel le resultat me parait au
moins douteux.
2°lla classe est rappelèe et quand
mon contrat sera terminé j'aurai
encore à accomplir le solde de mes
deux ans ou deux annes et demi de
service (ceci officiel)

Dear Parents
I received with pain your
letter of the 23.
You all are asking me a
calm response. Here it is :
1°l It is not question , in
no case to to reform myself.
We are still in war and
then in my current physical
state the result seems to me to the
less doubtful.
2°lthe class is recalled and when
my contract will be terminated I will
still have to accomplish the salary of my
two years or two years and a half of
service (this one official)


3°l Je ne veux pas aller en caserne
non seulement à cause de la vie
abrutissante que l'on y surtout mène en
temps normal mais surtoutensuite parce
que nous nous trouverions sous
les ordres de FFI qui nous feraient
payer cher le fait d'avoir appartenu
à la 1ere Armée en general et à
la Coloniale en particulier
4°l Je suis spécialiste: Je suis d'active
dans (ma classe ètant sous les drapeaux)
Deux raisons quimexferont sans aucun
doute (renseignements pris) expediér au E.O.
de griè ou...
Ces donnèes posèes; mûries et vérifiées
al Je ne suis engagè pour la durèe
 des hostilitès en E.O. hier , ainsi que
 d'ailleurs les 9/10e du regiment , cette
dernière chose n'a d'ailleurs eu rien
influer sur ma decision

le contrôle du bureau. Je suis tenu
au courant regulierement et je ne
vois rien qui puisse "noyer" un
homme qui a ètè au feu et qui
a eu des responsabilités. D'ailleurs

moi en 41 et nous avions alors
beaucoup plus d' initiative.
