Childhood

30 March 1922 - Birth in Morris, New Jersey

On 30 March 1922, Edward Milan Heacock was born in Morris, New Jersey, to his parents Otto Bertrand Heacock and Emely Sieworth.

26 August 1928 - Birth of his new brother Paul Henry Heacock

On 26 August 1928, Edward's mother brought into the family a new member, his brother Paul Henry Heacock.

Around 1935 - Death of their mother Emely

Around the year 1935, when his brother Paul was around seven to eight years old, their mother Emely Sieworth, died. Due to this, the family began splitting apart. Edward's brother, Paul, not being consulted, was, either on the decision of Otto, the state authorities, or both, was put into the Missouri Foster Home Program. He had two pairs of pants, and a pair of shoes as his belongings when he left, also not really having that much of a reaction to the news.

After the passing of his mother, the Heacock family disintegrated. Paul, not being consulted, and probably on both the opinion of his father and the state authorities, was told that he was going to be put into the Missouri Foster Home Program, and so started going in and out of such as well as living with family. Paul only had two pairs of pants, a pair of shoes, and a couple of shoes as his personal belongings. Paul had a "So what?" reaction to news, there was nothing that he could really do. Sometimes Otto would pull the family back together again just for later for them to be separated again.

30 March 1938 - Turning 16 years old

On 30 March 1936 Edward would have turned 16 years old.

Between March 1938 and March 1939 - Fist fighting with his father and moving to Detroit, Michigan

One day when Edward was 16 years of age, Edward and Otto got into a fist fight over some unknown issue they were having. Having already had a bad relation with his father who was a functioning alcoholic, after this, Edward decided to move away. He chose to go to Detroit, Michigan. It seems that Edward decided to really stay there, not seeing his family again, or at least for a while, at least that was the case for his brother Paul.

Adulthood

30 March 1940 - Becoming an adult

On 30 March 1940, Edward would have become an adult, turning 18 years old.

Early April 1940 - Social Security Application

In April 1940 Edward made an application to obtain a Social Security Number. It seems that someone decided to do this or he decided to do this after his 18th birthday. Therefore this was probably early April

March 1977 - Death

In March 1977 Edward passed away at around 55 years of age.
