English: This is a photograph taken during what seems to be some sort of party outdoors. Twenty-one people in the photograph can be seen in total. On the back it says:
Jean The names on the back seem to indicate showing the names of some of the people. The first one is on the far right who is sitting on a chair looking to his left, Jean Eloy. To his right is M-P.Courant, who seems to be sitting on the ground and trying to light up a cigarette in her mouth. Then the one that is François Lecoq seems to be the one sitting on the grass with his hand touching the ground, while smiling or laughing. It seems more likely for that to be him instead of the person above since the person above him was moving while the shot was being taken and so wouldn't be recognizable. It is doubtful that whoever was writing down the names (likely Raymond) would have remembered if the unrecognizable person was Lecoq, and therefore it is likely the more recognizable face was Lecoq. Next to François Lecoq is written "JD", possibly an abbreviation for a name, with the J possibly representing a Jean or Jacques, but it isn't known. It seems that JD is one of the two men sitting next to Lecoq. On the table there is a white looking tablecloth, with four bottles of wine. The bottle on the far left looks like it is on a tray. On the far right of the table seems to be some pigeons. Next to the pigeons seem like little wine glasses. It seems that many of these people rode in on bikes, as there are many bikes next to the trees in the background. On the left of the trees and bikes seems to be a pathway to somewhere. The time of day seems to be mid-day because there are no shadows to be seen coming from anyone or anything. |
